Step-by-Step
- unzip the ROM
- rename it to “1000H.ROM”
- format your USB stick to FAT (not FAT32 – remember to save all files since formating deletes all files located on the stick)
- copy the 1000H.ROM to your USB stick
- plug the stick into the netbook
- press ALT+F2 and then start your netbook by pressing the power key
- wait ~1-2 minutes for a message to press the power button again
- unplug the usb key
- finished!
Schritt für Schritt
- Entpacke die ROM Datei (endet mit .ROM)
- Umbenennen zu “1000H.ROM”
- USB Stick Formatieren zu FAT (nicht FAT32) über Rechtsklick auf den USB Stick -> Formatieren (alle darauf befindlichen Dateien werden gelöscht!)
- Kopiere die “1000H.ROM” Datei auf den formatierten USB Stick
- Stecke den USB Stick in den USB Slot des Netbooks
- Halte die Tasten ALT und F2 gleichzeitig gedrückt und drücke dann auf den Anschalter (ALT+F2 weiterhin gedrückt halten bis “EZ-Flash” [siehe Bild] erscheint)
- Warte ~1-2 Minuten bis die Meldung “The Bios update is finished.” erscheint
- Entferne den USB Stick aus dem Slot und starte das System neu
PS: Use at your own risk – unless you don’t shut it off while patching the BIOS files it will definitely work..
